Molise is a mountain region. But the mountains are not as harsh and high here as in the northern Abruzzo region. From the cottages it is great to go to the beach for the day, on the Adriatic Sea.

The main national park is Parco Nazionale d’Abruzzo, where a population of brown bears and wolves lives. It is also a splendid walking area. Although the Abbruzzo region (still) is unknown as walking area, it is definitely worth it to go on a long walk from your holiday home. These regions are excellent for mountain climbing too. Besides all this, the coast offers various possibilities too. You can visit the beach from your holiday home, go windsurfing, sailing or canoeing.
