Capital Hanover

The capital city of this region is Hanover. Hanover has a historical inner city with many beautifully restored churches. The Grosser Garten of Herrenhausen is one of the main attractions in Hanover. The park has been fully landscaped in Baroque style. Hanover is also known for the important industry exhibitions which are held here in the Hanover Messe. This was partly the reason why the great World Exhibition was held here in 2000.
