You will find typical cottages in the most beautiful, unspoilt spots. Your cottage is always near a beautiful nature route. And from the holiday homes in the Tatra region or the Slovakian Paradise there is a lot of culture waiting to be discovered too!

The cottages in the Tatra are situated in a varied area. This region offers diverse and impressive mountainous areas with waterfalls, rock formations, deep gorges, and forests. A great opportunity to enjoy the impressive wildlife. The more active holidaymakers have a range of options to choose from, including walking, mountain biking, horse riding, fishing, cross-country skiing, and skiing. Water sports enthusiasts can go to the Liptovska reservoir.

Slovakia has many national natural parks, the best known being the high mountains of the Tatras, a UNESCO nature reserve. Hundreds of kilometres of footpaths ensure pure enjoyment in its natural surroundings. But it is also possible to enjoy mountain climbing, mountain biking, paragliding, cross-country skiing, and skiing. From your cottage in the Tatra you can enjoy many sporting activities.

Holiday homes Slovakian Paradise, on holiday in a fantastic nature region

The north of Slovakia is home to the beautiful park of Pieniny, where you can go cycling, kayaking, or fishing. This region has a wonderful tourist attraction: traditional rafting on a wooden raft down the river Dunajec. The monastery of Cerveny Klastor is also well worth a visit. The region of the Slovakian Paradise is of course equally interesting and is another must. This fantastic natural area has many caves, waterfalls, deep gorges, rock formations, and forests. The ice cave of ‘Dobsinska lodavo jadkyna’ is definitely well worth a visit.

The mountain area also offers many open air museums and UNESCO villages, where culture lovers can get a feeling of how people lived here between the 18th and 20th Century. A visit to the open air museums in Vychylovka, in the Kysuce region, and Liptov Village in Pribylina is an extraordinary experience. Don’t forget to visit the 18th century UNESCO village of ‘Vlkolinec’ (Liptov) or the UNESCO village of Podbiel (Orava), with their typical wooden houses, called ‘Drevenicas’ from your cottage in the Tatra. Some interesting historical towns include Levoca, Spisska Kapitula and Kezmarok (Slovakian Paradise).

Also cottages for winter sports!

In the mountainous areas there are numerous ski slopes for any level, including the famous Strbske Pleso in the High Tatra.
