Home Description

Have you always wanted to live in a 1000 year old mill in the heart of the countryside? This is your chance. This former mill dates from 1050 A.D. There is a charming two persons holiday home on the first floor.

The home has two bedrooms. The mill is on a country estate of 3.5 hectares. It has been owned by the same family for centuries. You look out over delightful meadows and woods from the terrace. A small brook ripples through the grounds. This is a unique location for lovers of beautiful scenery and students of history. Children can play freely here as the nearest road is 500 metres away. With luck you'll spot deer and rabbits on the doorstep.

NB: Holiday homes DE-56761-01 and DE-56761-02 are on the same estate.

Our holiday was absolutely fantastic. We arrived at the scene and it was like a fairytale. Beautiful nature, a very cosy home and very gentle and loving caretakers. We immediately felt at home. The surrounding countryside ensures that you have a very peaceful and quiet holiday. Great for taking walks or just relaxing at home but you're also very close to the highway (less than 5 minutes) so you can go on daytrips very easily. We are definitely going back there sometime!

Onze vakantie was zeer plezierig. Een fijne huis met alles er op en eraan. Een meer dan goede locatie, midden in de natuur met dagelijks een actief 'vogelconcert'. De verhuurders waren zeer vriendelijk, informatief en behulpzaam. Een adres om terug te komen.

Mooie, rustige locatie met zeer vriendelijke eigenaren. Gelegen in een met bos omgeven dal, dat eigendom is van de molen en ook door de gasten gebruikt mag worden. De molen is dicht bij de snelweg gelegen, wat het zeer bereikbaar maakt. De snelweg is echter totaal niet te horen doordat de molen in een dal ligt.

Mooi onderhouden plek. Mooi oud gebouw, maar netjes en modern ingericht. Ligt behoorlijk afgelegen, heeft een mooie tuin met terras en je ziet regelmatig een haas, roofvogel en ander wild. Zelfs 1 keer een hertje. Ideaal als je een even geen mensen om je heen wilt en wilt uitrusten. Ook zeer vriendelijke mensen die het beheren. Er zijn 3 appartementen die verhuurd worden. Je deelt de 'grote tuin' met z'n allen. Ligt vlak bij de snelweg (die je overigens totaal niet hoort), dus goede uitvalsbasis voor uitstapjes in de omgeving.

Beautifully maintained place. Lovely old building but clean and modern. Located quite remote, has a beautiful garden with terrace and you see regularly a hare, hawk and other wildlife. Even one time a deer. Ideal if you just do not want people around you and want to rest. Also very friendly people who manage. There are 3 apartments that are rented. You will share the "garden" z "n all. Located just off the highway (which incidentally totally hear you), so good base for excursions in the area.
