Landgoed t Wildryck, a unique 32-hectare estate in a unique, forested setting. Diever town centre is just 2.5 km away. The charming farms, many with sleeping alcoves, are located on the edge of the Drents-Friese Wold nature preserve. There are more than enough options here to keep the kids entertained: the covered swimming pool, the animal pasture, the open-air and covered playground and of course the quaint and fun Pannenkoeckenhuys - a pancake house that serves up some delicious treats. During your stay, fresh bread rolls and newspapers can be delivered to the farm youve booked, a perfect way to complete the holiday feel at Landgoed t Wildryck! Despite the many facilities the holiday park has to offer, its also nice to take a look beyond the estate at the beautiful forest. Go for a hike and enjoy the thriving natural scenery here. Visit the picturesque little villages in the area and cycle the many kilometres of bike paths. Do the kids like activities? With Speelstad Oranje, Plopsaland Coevorden and the Emmen Zoo they can play to their hearts content. And for adults, the Camp Westerbork Memorial Centre, the Orvelte living history village and a Shakespeare performance at the open-air theatre in Diever (inquire about the show dates) are all worth a visit. The detached 6- pers. country houses (NL-7981-07, NL-7981-08) were finished in 1999 and are set in their own spacious plots spread throughout the woodland. They offer an atmosphere from the old days and the comfort of today. Many houses have a reed roof. The interior is tasteful and complete, partially with a cosy wood stove or iron stove. Some houses have a box bed (especially suitable for children). The houses are privately owned, as a result of which the decor can vary. On request there are pet free country houses for rent. The park also has houses which are suitable for people suffering from CNSLD (Chronic Non Specific Lung Disease) and there is also a wheelchair-friendly house. All houses have a terrace with garden furniture.
