Close to the Pyrenees and the Atlantic Ocean and in the heart of Gascony, in a region with a tradition of fine food as befits the South-West with its international wine reputation, Marciac has retained its square surrounded by beautiful old houses and Medieval arches, built in the 13th century. The famous "Jazz in Marciac" festival attracts increasing numbers of enthusiasts each year, as does the Jazz Museum. In a privileged environment, backing onto a poplar grove and beside a 24 hectare lake, the holiday village designed by the architect Pierre Diener combines regional tradition and "New Orleans" detail: tiled roofs at different levels, wooden facades, metal and wood awnings and valances. You will be able to spend your holiday in an apartment or in a house. All the accommodation has a view of the lake. You will be able to treat yourself to a relaxing afternoon of balneotherapy, a family cycle ride or just a stroll around the swimming pool or lake. Ideal for exploring the "Gascony Bastide" walled village route or for discovering Gers’ gastronomic and cultural riches.

Specifics: A drink is arranged on arrival in July/August each Sunday in order to welcome clients, introduce them to the residence and the village, as well as to the various service providers in the region.

There is a summer bar/crepe restaurant (independent of Pierre & Vacances) close by.
The local leisure pool is nearby (free access for residents from 30 June to 1 September 2007 on presentation of a special card provided on guests’ arrival).
