Havelte lies 10 km. north-east of Meppel. You have a nice stay in Havelte throughout the year since there is a lot to do and to see. It has a very extensive walking- and biking track web and there is also an A-status 18 holes golf course. The surroundings is determined by stretchout forests, heathlands, sand shiftings, hunebeds and a leave strip landscape. If you want to enjoy rest and nature, then Villa Meerzicht is an excellent choise. This high standard holiday villa lies on an unique location on a small scale leisure park and straight at a swimming- and fishing lake. It is situated at the edge of the forest so you walk straight into the woods or to the centre. The villa is furnished modern and stylish. With the house belongs a terrace and a fenced garden and you have access to a private mooring and a small private beach at the lake.
