This rustic and charming Carinthian mountain hut accommodates up to 6 guests and is located in Sankt Andrä, between Völkermarkt and Wolfsberg. Surrounded by forest and countryside, it offers peace, quiet, and a true escape into nature. The house has three bedrooms (one accessible from outside), a spacious kitchen-living area with dining table, and a bathroom with shower and toilet. From the garden, you can enjoy beautiful views of the surroundings. The last 10 km to the house is a mountain path, which is easily passable.
The region offers a variety of outdoor activities: hiking in the Sau- and Koralpe mountains, cycling on scenic paths, and skiing at the nearby Koralpe (18 km of slopes) or the Weinebene ski area in Sankt Gertraud (about 40 min). Just 5 km south is the St. Andräer See leisure facility, and the Wolfsberg Stadionbad provides summer swimming fun.
Lake Klopein, one of Austria’s most famous lakes, is about 30 min by car.
Sankt Andrä and nearby towns offer plenty of shops and restaurants. Whether you are seeking an active holiday with hiking, cycling, and skiing, or a quiet retreat surrounded by mountains and lakes, this mountain hut provides the perfect base.

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit in der Schröllhütte! Die Hütte ist unglaublich gemütlich, bestens ausgestattet und einfach perfekt, um zur Ruhe zu kommen oder zu lernen. Draußen grasen die Kühe direkt vor der Haustür, das Wetter war traumhaft und die Umgebung lädt zum Spazieren und Wandern ein. :)
Man spürt, dass hier mit viel Liebe zum Detail gearbeitet wurde – es fehlt an nichts. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und kommen ganz bestimmt wieder!
