De Koog is a lovely place to stay. The village has a great shopping centre and many cosy restaurants. From the beach, you can even walk straight into the centre. Ideal, isn't it? But it is also nice to sit on a terrace or go shopping in Den Burg, the capital of the island. This part of the island is best known for its historic buildings and the highest church tower on the island. During your holiday in North Holland on the coast, you can even climb this church. So there is plenty to do here!
