Swimming in one of the 7 lakes in southern Carinthia such as the Klopeiner See, the Gösselsdorfer See or the Turnersee with water temperatures of up to 29 degrees and enjoying the wonderful Karawanks panorama, or in one of the beautiful public lidos, playing golf in the Klopeinersee-Südkärnten golf park or climbing the Kitzelberg to the viewing platform? In winter, skiers, carvers and snowboarders feel equally at home on the more than 15 kilometers of slopes in the Petzen ski area in St. Michael near Bleiburg, about 30 minutes from Sankt Kanzian. Alternatively, the small but fine Koralpe ski area offers 18 perfectly groomed slopes of all levels of difficulty and deep snow slopes.
