We verbleven in een ruim, eenvoudig maar compleet en smaakval ingericht appartement in een leuk kasteeltje aan de Amblève.. Voor de buitendeur een terras waar we lekker in alle rust zaten te lezen. Op 5 minuten lopen een uitstekend gesorteerde supermarkt van Delhaize. Op nog geen 30 minuten lopen langs de rivier het leuke stadje Aywaille met veel restaurants en terrassen.. Op veel plekken in de vallei zagen we nog schade van de overstroming, ook bij het kasteeltje. Het vriendelijke team van medewerkers was nog steeds hard bezig met herstel; maar hadden toch ook steeds aandacht voor de gasten. Kortom, we hadden een heerlijke week in een mooie vallei met goede wandelpaden.
