The sandy beaches of Fréjus and Mandelieu-La Napoule are about 30 km away for those craving the sea.

Heel leuk en compleet ingericht vakantiehuisje. Fantastisch ontvangen door de eigenaars (incl. aperitief). Heel mooi uitzicht vanop het terras op de bovenste verdieping. Het huisje ligt in het oude stadsgedeelte waardoor het niet bereikbaar is met de wagen, maar alles is perfect te voet te doen en gratis parking dichtbij. Gezellig dorpje en ideale uitvalsbasis naar de grotere steden. Voor herhaling.

Het plaatsje Fayence is zeer mooi en wij hebben erg genoten van onze twee weken. Ook hebben wij de ontvangst als zeer prettig ervaren! Uitstapjes naar Saint-Tropez,Cannes,Saint-Raphael zijn erg aan te bevelen.

Het huis ligt midden in het centrum. Fayence is een levendig plaatsje met veel restaurants en terrasjes. 'S avonds was er regelmatig live muziek. Alle terrasjes, winkels en markt zijn op loopafstand. Het huis ziet er prachtig uit. Er is een wasmachine en bad en keukenlinnen aanwezig wat niet op de site vermeld stond. De eigenaars verbleven momenteel in het huis ernaast en ze waren erg aardig en gastvrij.

Het dorp Fayence is een ideale uitvalsbasis voor zowel uitstappen in de natuur (Gorges du Verdon op ongeveer anderhalf uur rijden) als uitstappen naar mondaine steden als Cannes en Nice (ongeveer een uurtje rijden). Voor ons was het dus een ideale mix. Het huis ligt centraal in het dorp, dichtbij restaurantjes en winkeltjes. Uitzonderlijk pluspunt we werden heel vriendelijk onthaald door de eigenaars van de woning!
