There's a grill and a rowing boat included in the rent, so why not row out on the lake and fish for supper to grill. It is not allowed to charge electric cars at the cottage. There's a big, public beach with a café only 600 metres from the cottage. The surrounding area offers lots to see and do. The beautiful channel Göta Kanal is a must-see when you are in this part of the country! The national park of Tiveden ( 40 kilometres away) is a must-see, as are the red water lilies of Fagertärn, and the castle Stjernsunds Slott. Hova arranges a medieval market, with jousting, one week a year, usually week 28,which you might be able to catch. Motor is available for rent for the boat. You pay for the fuel yourself. Örebro is a good destination for a day trip. The city centre of Örebro was voted the most beautiful in Sweden in 2015. Don't miss the marvellous castle from the 1300's when you are there! Other fun activities in Örebro include a guided “ghost walk”. The largest waterpark in Sweden is situated in Gustavsvik, and is also worth a visit.
