There are also plenty of bathing places in Färjestaden. If you want more well-visited, popular beaches, Köpingsvik is not far away or wonderful Böda with its rolling beaches located higher up on Öland. You have beautiful nature and wonderful hiking trails such as. Nunnedalen close by. Gråborg is Öland's largest ancient castle, you also have Borgholm's Castle Ruins which you must not miss. In The summertime there are many lovely cafes, ice cream cafes, art studios, flea markets and farm shops to explore. In Runsten there is Antik & Loppis which is well worth a visit, there is also Runstens Gård with its popular Gårdsbutik. A good tip is also to enjoy Öland's good body cakes.
