Here in Källebacken as the area is called, there is a marked path leading up to Grotteberget, which offers an even more magnificent view of the area. From Källebacken there are also connecting routes to Västra Vätterleden. If you would like to swim in Lake Viken, it is less than 5 minutes by car. Only 26 km you reach Tiveden National Park. Here is genuine Swedish wilderness in a hilly and wild forest landscape with dramatic fissure valleys, beautiful forest lakes, giant blocks at Stenkälla, views from the Trollkyrkobergen and the beach at Vitsand. Worth a visit is also Forsvik's lock, which was built in 1813, Göta Kanal's both the oldest and highest single lock. Please note: The cottage is not rented out to youth groups.
