Even though Tofta offers most things, there are more gold nuggets on Gotland you must not miss. Take a trip to Visby to see Visby Ringmur, which stately surrounds Visby's inner city with showy rose alleys and a unique history. Farthest north you can take a short ferry ride over to Fårö to swim on one of Sweden's most beautiful beaches, Sudersand or Ekeviken where the sand is as fine as powder. If you have the children with you, Kneippbyn is a must, namely Pippi Longstocking's own summer country.
