The swimming raft down by the lake belongs to the house. If you want to swim, there are 2 bathing places, "Tanden och Tungan" is the closest, and Gökaskratt Camping where you have a bathing jetty, playground etc. You live in the middle of the glass kingdom and have only 25 km to Kosta Outlet. There is also Kosta Safari Park where you can meet moose, bison, fallow deer, mouflon sheep and wild boar up close. The train station in Hovmantorp is about 500m from the house, which is worth thinking about if you want to easily make day trips to e.g. Copenhagen, Gothenburg and Växjö. Trains are also a convenient way to get to the house.
