This does mean you will need snow chains on your car to reach it and that the difference in altitude is only 500 metres. Kühtai itself is a small village with a number of cosy ski huts where you can eat and drink. The ski resort is perfect for both beginners and more experienced skiers alike. There are 37 km of fantastic descents for skiers and a fun park that includes jumps, an S-rail, wave and corner for snowboarders. There is also plenty for young children to enjoy, including the Kids Club Kuhtai, a special children?s park with a nursery (ages 2 and up) and a children?s ski nursery/school (ages 4 and up) that includes a practice area with 'magic carpet' (conveyor), baby lift, children?s carousel, playground and kids? warm-up area. Kühtai winter sports resort means winter fun!

In addition to downhill slopes, you will also find a total of 15 km of easy to more challenging cross-country tracks. If you would prefer to keep your regular shoes on, you can enjoy fresh air and exercise while hiking along the 4 km of marked trails! Other options include snowshoe walking, a horse and carriage ride, a torch-lit walk, skiing tours and ice climbing. There is also a 2.5 km-long lighted toboggan run for both young and old! In other words, there is plenty to enjoy from your chalet!
