The popular ski resort of Chamrousse is located around 30 km from Grenoble and is made up of two ski resorts at different altitudes, Chamrousse 1650 and Chamrousse 1750, which are connected by a shuttle service and slopes. The stations are built in a woody area and offer beautiful views of the Grenoble Valley. Chamrousse 1650 (Recoin) is the first of the two stations and served as the Olympic stadium in 1968. The gondola departs from here. There is also an outdoor skating rink in Chamrousse 1650. After an activity-filled day, you can pamper yourself at the SPA CELA Chamrousse, a wellness centre that is part of a résidence, with a swimming pool, whirlpool bath, Turkish bath, saunas, solarium, massage facilities and beauty treatments. Rent an apartment in the neighbouring résidence (Les Balcons De Recoin), located at the foot of the slopes and offering beautiful views, and you’ll enjoy sheer relaxation from moment one! Chamrousse 1750 (Roche Béranger) has an indoor shopping centre, a few restaurants and bars, but little more in the way of an après-ski scene. There are no eating or drinking establishments on the slopes. Chamrousse 1700 (Bachat-Bouloud) has now also been added, where you will find the Les Domaines de l’Arseelle tourist complex, with shops and a swimming pool. What makes this resort so attractive is its fantastic location in the woods and that it is a cross-country paradise, with 40 km of tracks. There is also a small area for tobogganing and the starting point for snowshoe hikes is located here. Chamrousse skiing area

From your apartment in the Chamrousse ski resort, you can also ski into the Chamrousse skiing area. Here you can enjoy 90 km of slopes, 19 ski lifts, 40 km of tracks, a snowboard/freestyle park, Sunset Snowpark and a mini speed area. The region is very well suited for beginners and young children. Chamrousse 1750 is particularly attractive for beginners, with nice and easy slopes (that also run through the woods). There are also various off-piste possibilities. You also have breathtaking panoramic views from the Cross of Chamrousse (2253 m) at the top!
