The Les Collons/Thyon 2000 (or Thyon-Les Collons) area is made up of Les Collons, Les Masses and Thyon 2000 and is part of the Les Quatre Vallées skiing area. The highest of the towns at an altitude of 2100 metres, Thyon offers fantastic views of the Val d’Herens. It is a traffic-free, modern winter sports destination with numerous apartment complexes and a varied selection of shops, restaurants and bars. Les Collons is situated at an altitude of 1800 metres and has fast and easy access to the mountain and lifts. It is a quiet town without a glamorous après-ski scene, but with a nice selection of shops, restaurants and bars - and even an indoor swimming pool. Les Masses (altitude of 1500 m) is a small, quiet mountain village with views of the Matterhorn and across the Hérémence valley. What makes it so ideal is the relatively large number of easy slopes for beginners, including three special bunny slopes. In Thyon 2000 you will find a ‘children’s garden’, night skiing and 1-km long toboggan run through the woods between Thyon and Les Collons.
