Estate Huéscar

The more than one hundred years old cave apartments were completely restored and transformed into five luxury and stylish holiday homes with all mod cons. Every home has a private terrace with wooden garden furniture and a barbecue. Cueva Uno, Dos and Tres are located next to each other on a square/garden. Cueva Cuatro and Cinco are on the same grounds, but a bit lower at approx. 50 m distance from an interior court. On the intermediate platform there is a small inflatable pool from June to September where you can cool off. Cueva Cuatro and Cinco are perfect to rent as one single home, the Cueva Combi. The living rooms can be connected from the inside with two connecting doors. The home is then suitable for seven to eight persons and is equipped with two bathrooms and kitchens.

The temperature is a steady 16 to 21 degrees all year round in the cave rooms. This is an ideal temperature in a climate like that of Andalusia where it gets really hot in summer. The insulating effect makes the cave rooms cool in summer and warm in winter. All the cave apartments have a wood burning stove and gas or electrical central heating.

The cave apartments have a rural location on the edge of the cave region of Huescar in Andalusia. Farmers and shepherds still live here. There are a natural swimming pool and two restaurants in the cave area; a cave restaurant and a restored water mill. More restaurants, bars and supermarkets can be found in the village. There are impressive and varied landscapes in the region, Arabic villages, dams and nature parks. This still quite untouched area is perfect for walking, swimming, canoe, horse riding and fishing. The park rents mountain bikes.
The village Huéscar has ca. 8000 inhabitants and is approx. 160 km from Granada airport away and is easy to reach via the motorway. There are regular organised festivities in the village, which means that a Spanish fiesta until the wee hours is a definite possibility !
