Residence Agaete

“El Angosto”, is a small family-run holiday park, with 12 apartments, located on a hillside with a stunning view of the mountains and the sea, and yet only a 600m walk to the center of Agaete. There is a beautiful garden terrace with pleasant sitting areas for the guests, a big swimming pool and a sauna. The 3 different apartments are all equiped with washing maschines, refrigerator, warm-water heaters, dishes and kitchen utilities, as well as towels and bedsheets.

Agaete, in the North of Gran Canaria Island, is situated in a spectacular surrounding between the mountains and the Atlantic Ocean. It has grown from a typical fishermen’s village with narrow streets and white houses to a pleasant small town with a variety of shops and good restaurants, where one can enjoy delicious seafood specialities. Agaete is about 36 km away from Las Palmas, and 40 km across the sea from Tenerife between the Atlantic Ocean and Tamadaba Natural Park. The climate is very pleasant and the temperature usually remains between 18 and 23 degrees in winter and 20 to 27 degrees in summer.

From „El Angosto“ an easy walk of about 800m brings you to the harbour of Agaete, „Puerto de las Nieves“, located in a pretty bay with clear waters and pebble-beaches. From the harbour a fast ferry requieres only an hour to reach Tenerife‘s Puerto de la Cruz. “ El Angosto” is proud of its quiet atmosphere, where you can find real relaxation, far away from all tourist crowds and noises. And yet, there are many possible activities, ranging, for instance, from a sunny day at the large pool, to a tour of the Agaete-valley with its interesting archeological sites, or a trip to the mountains and Tamadaba Natural Park and various other nearby sites on this beautiful island.
