Your cottage on the Costa de Valencia is the starting point for a fabulous beach holiday.

Valencia, Spain’s third largest city, is situated on the Gulf of Valencia and is surrounded by endless orange orchards. This provincial capital is also called ‘ciudad de la marcha’ (the nightlife city). Apart from its Gothic cathedral, museums, and charming harbour, Valencia is also known for its nightlife and has many lively clubs, pubs, cafes, cinemas and charming squares to offer.

To the south of the city you will find the water amusement park Aquasol. You can have a great day in this fun atmosphere from your holiday home on the Costa de Valencia.

Cottages on the Costa de Valencia, the Paella region

The most typical dish from this area is the famous Paella; every Valencian village has its own variety. The region of Valencia is also known for its popular annual festivals, that always attract many tourists. In spring, the annual festival of ‘Las Fallas’ is held. During this unique colourful festival with lots of music and fireworks (almost) anything goes! Large papier-mâché caricatures of famous Spaniards are carried around the city in a large parade. This festival is dedicated to lots of fun and laughter, and ends with the burning of the statues, fireworks and, of course, lots of paella.

Cottages on the Costa de Valencia, a green excursion

This region is also great for nature lovers. From your cottage on the Costa de Valencia you could for example discover the nature reserve ‘Le Parque Naturel de la Albufera’. You can make a boat trip on the lake here after enjoying the magnificent walking area.
