Urban farmhouse in Umbria with pool

Vi hade en fantastisk tid på Belvilla bondgård, Utsikten var hisnande, med olivträd överallt, Barnen njöt av poolen medan jag kopplade av i trädgården, Ägarna var supervänliga och gav oss till och med tips om lokal mat, Enda nackdelen? WiFi var lite långsamt ibland, men vem bryr sig när man är omgiven av sådan skönhet?

Vi kom hit för en weekend getaway och det gjorde oss inte besvikna, Det gemensamma utrymmet var bekvämt och hade allt vi behövde, De närliggande städer är charmiga och perfekta för en dagsutflykt, Värt varje öre!

De aankomst was redelijk dramatisch: een zware regenbui die de toegangsweg in een rivierbedding veranderde. Maar uiteindelijk in het appartement gekomen en daar weer opgedroogd. De omgeving is heerlijk rustig, om niet te zeggen oorverdovend stil

The arrival was quite dramatic: a heavy rain shower that turned the access road into a river bed. But eventually arrived in the apartment and dried up again. The area is wonderfully quiet, not to say deafeningly quiet

Questo posto è una vera gemma! È un po' remoto, il che ci è piaciuto, ma ancora abbastanza vicino ai ristoranti locali per mangiare fuori, I tour a cavallo organizzati dai proprietari erano fantastici e ci siamo sentiti come se fossimo nel nostro piccolo paradiso

My husband and I have just spent 9 nights at Il Monte. Our cottage was clean, comfortable and very charming with an equipped kitchen (4-burner cooktop/no oven) and modern bathroom. The scenery surrounding the property is simply breathtaking. Our hosts were friendly but respected privacy and they had a lovely friendly dog – we miss Theo!! Francesca speaks English fluently and Adriana speaks Italian and some French. I understand that Adriana runs a restaurant on the property during peak season. There is a large unheated swimming pool and property is not air conditioned although that was not an issue whatsoever for us. There are several choices of accommodations - 1, 2 3 bedroom all of which are lovely and comfortable. The setting is remote, quiet and secluded ~ 3 hours drive from Rome airport. Best to rent an SUV not smallest vehicle for rough terrain. Probably not best for guests with physical challenges because terrain is quite steep. Barns and horses very well kept and we enjoyed rides immensely. Francesca is a very professional and patient instructor. It is a short drive to Monte Santa Maria Tiburina with a couple of restaurants or a bit further to Citte di Castello for many to choose from. You can buy groceries at Conad along the way – make sure to buy paper towel, tissues and toilet tissue as well as all food/drink that you need as it is a fairly long (+20 min) drive to buy anything. There is a small “tuck shop” at Oscarias Restaurant in Monte Santa Maria Tiburina. We loved our visit and hope to return again soon. We never wanted to leave!

De locatie is redelijk goed te bereiken en het staat ook wel duidelijk zichtbaar aangegeven langs de weg. Het ontvangst was vervolgens hartelijk en we kregen gelijk een rondleiding door het appartement. Het appartement zelf was net een schoon. Keuken inrichting (kookgerei en apparatuur) kan wat beter en moderner maar voldoet. Slaapkamer is prima en badkamer modern en strak. Het privéterras heeft schaduw en is heerlijk genieten. Zwembad is fantastisch, schoon en genieten. De mogelijkheden van paardrijden zijn goed en daar makkelijk te regelen voor een redelijke vergoeding. Het landgoed ligt midden in de natuur en is een oase van rust.

The location is fairly easy to reach and it is also clearly marked along the way. The welcome was warm and then we were like a tour of the apartment. The apartment itself was just a clean. Kitchen furnishings (cookware and appliances) is better and more modern but satisfying. Bedroom is fine and bathroom modern and sleek. The private terrace has shade and enjoy. Pool is fantastic, clean and enjoy. The possibilities of riding are good and there easy to settle for a reasonable fee. The estate is surrounded by nature and is an oasis of calm.
