Activities nearby: On the northern shore of Lake Storkow is the lido, a wonderful place to cool off, swim, and bathe on hot summer days. With its 6 kilometers in length and approximately 1.2 kilometers in width, the lake is also a popular area for sailing, rowing, and canoeing. Very close to the lido is the landing stage for the Scharmützelsee passenger boats. Tip: Visit Storkow Castle with its cozy castle café and the impressive inland dune at Waltersberge – formed 8,000 to 10,000 years ago, covered with rare steppe plants, and at 36 meters high, unique in Brandenburg.
