Tranquil Village Stay with Fireplace

Ons verblijf in Montebabbio bij Mario in appartement Aia was fantastisch. De ontvangst was warm en de gastheer spreekt perfect Engels. Het huisje is basic, alles wat je nodig hebt is er en we hebben zelfs kennis gemaakt met de Italiaanse koffie want er was een perculator aanwezig. De bedden sliepen goed, de douche was lekker en op verzoek werd er ook buiten in stoelen en een tafel voorzien. De omgang met onze kinderen was prettig. Er zit een restaurant om de hoek en het eten is er heerlijk. De omgeving is prachtig en je kan letterlijk alle kanten op naar de omliggende dorpen en steden. Wij hebben het Ferrari en Lamborghini museum bezocht. Ook kregen we van onze gastheer Mario goede tips wat we in de omgeving konden doen.

Mario and family are superb hosts where nothing is a problem very generous with local knowledge. Beautiful area of Emilio Rogmagna to explore. Good to have a car as so much to see from Parma ham to Parmigiano reggianno to balsamic... Staying at Mario's is a. Very comfortable experience... I would definitely go back x

Een simpel en eenvoudig huisje. Wel was het huisje bij aankomst Brandschoon. Het huisje is eigendom van Mario. Een zeer hartelijke Italiaan die je welkom heet met een fles van zijn heerlijke zelf gemaakte wijn. Het bergdorpje is klein en rustig. Maar wel is er 1 restaurant aanwezig. Hier hebben we heerlijk gegeten voor een zeer schappelijke prijs. Mooie steden als Modena en Emilia Romagna op Max 40 min rijden. Als je voor rust en stilte gaat en geen luxe verwacht is dit een zeer goed verblijf!

The mountain village is small and quiet. But there is 1 restaurant. We had a delicious meal here for a very reasonable price. Beautiful cities such as Modena and Emilia Romagna at Max 40 min drive. If you go for peace and quiet and don't expect luxury, this is a very good stay!

Ein super netter Gastgeber, eine saubere Unterkunft und eine schöne Umgebung. Vielleicht als Anregung wäre ein Ventilator nicht schlecht bei heißem Wetter und eine Klimaanlage im Hauptraum. Aber kein Kritikpunkt, da man ja weiß wohin man fährt. Weiter so !!!

A super nice host, clean accommodation and beautiful surroundings. Perhaps as a suggestion, a fan wouldn't be bad in hot weather and air conditioning in the main room. But not a point of criticism, because you know where you are going. Keep it up !!!

Aankomst was goed geregeld. Accommodatie was mooi en schoon en goed verzorgd. Omgeving was prachtig. De gastheer was bijzonder vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Hij gaf leuke tips!!

Zeer hartelijk ontvangen door eigenaar die een rondleiding gaf door het appartement. Accommodatie was erg netjes en schoon. Betreft een mooi gerestaureerde boerderij gesitueerd in het hart van het dorpje, met authentieke kenmerken. Iedere slaapkamer is voorzien van eigen douche en toilet. Het dorpje zelf ligt bovenop een heuvel/berg met mooie vergezichten. Omgeving nodigt uit om te mountainbiken. Wij verbleven hier als uitvalsbasis voor bezoeken aan de fabrieken en musea van Ferrari, Pagani en Maserati. Deze bevinden zich in Maranello en Modena. Ook Lamborghini en Ducati tref je daar. De reistijd naar deze plaatsen bedraagt ca. 20 tot 40 minuten met de auto.

This is a beautifully restored farmhouse situated in the heart of the village, with authentic features. Each bedroom has its own shower and toilet. The village itself is located on top of a hill / mountain with beautiful views.Environment invites to mountain biking. We stayed here as a base for visits to the factories and museums of Ferrari, Pagani and Maserati. These are located in Maranello and Modena. You can also find Lamborghini and Ducati there. The journey time to these places is about 20 to 40 minutes by car.
