Holiday Home in Cossignano with Pool

Helaas voldeed het huis niet aan de verwachtingen. Hoewel het huis echt veel potentie heeft, maakte het bij aankomst een verwaarloosde indruk. Dat begon al bij de entree/ de trap naar de ingang die vol onkruid stond. Niet geeft niet echt een welkom gevoel voor je gasten. Ook het zwembad was al een poos niet gebuikt; het was donkergroen, vies, lag vol met rotzooi. Op verschillende plekken rond het bad waren stukken van de rand afgebroken en had het binnenbad losgelaten. Kortom, het zwembad was niet te gebruiken en bovendien was er gevaar voor verwondingen. De aanwezige parasol bij het zwembad kon ook niet worden opgezet, omdat de standaard ontbrak. In onze slaapkamer en een deel van de gang hing een penetrante rioollucht. Gelukkig verdween deze na paar dagen toen er was gedoucht. Ook waren de stopcontacten op sommige kamers kapot, waardoor we de ventilator niet konden gebruiken. Erg warm ‘s nachts dus. De keukenkastjes roken muf, matrassen hadden kuilen, de bbq was smerig en vol resten. De tuin was niet afgesloten, waardoor er voortdurend honden losliepen door de tuin en hun behoeften achter lieten. Smerig en het waren ook nog eens honden die blaften als je ze wilde benaderen. Kortom, het dure huis dat we hadden gehuurd voor een speciale familievakantie bleek een deceptie. Pas aan het eind van de week was een aantal defecten gemaakt, maar toen was het leed al geschied. Belvilla had vooraf het huis moeten controleren op dergelijke defecten om haar gasten te laten genieten van een welverdiende vakantie. Veel defecten waren op te lossen en hadden voor ons bezoek opgelost moeten worden. Dat had veel erger voorkomen. Helaas geeft Belvilla na herhaaldelijk bellen en mailen niet thuis, terwijl was toegezegd binnen zes weken met een reactie te zullen komen. Jammer, voor ons nooit meer Belvilla!

Unfortunately, the house did not meet expectations. Although the house really has a lot of potential, it made a neglected impression on arrival. The pool hadn't been used for a while either; it was dark green, dirty, full of rubbish. In several places around the pool, pieces of the rim had broken off and the indoor pool had come loose. In short, the pool was unusable and, moreover, there was a risk of injury. The umbrella provided by the pool could not be set up either, because the standard was missing. There was a pungent sewage smell in our bedroom and part of the hallway. Fortunately, it disappeared after a few days after showering. Also, the electrical outlets in some rooms were broken, preventing us from using the fan. So very warm at night. The kitchen cupboards smelled musty, mattresses had pits, the bbq was filthy and full of residue. The garden was not closed off, so dogs were constantly running loose through the garden and leaving their needs behind. Nasty and they were dogs that would bark if you approached them. In short, the expensive house we rented for a special family vacation turned out to be a disappointment. Only at the end of the week were a number of defects made, but by then the damage had already been done. Belvilla should have checked the house in advance for such defects to allow its guests to enjoy a well-deserved holiday. Many defects were solvable and should have been resolved before our visit. That could have been a lot worse. Unfortunately, Belvilla does not answer after repeated calls and emails, while it was promised to come up with a response within six weeks. Too bad, for us never Belvilla again!
