Apartment in Vinci with Pool & Wellness

Het terrein ligt in een mooi gebied tussen Pisa en Florence in. Het bestaat eigenlijk uit twee delen; een hoofdgebouw met wat appartementen, het zwembad, restaurant en een grote partytent waar ook (trouw) feesten plaats vinden. Daarnaast Borgo Pinete met een grote villa en daar omheen wat kleine authentieke huisjes. Dit is het gedeelte waar wij zaten. Van buiten zien de huisjes er mooi uit; vrolijke kleuren en veel groen er omheen. Van binnen is er wel ruimte voor verbetering. Positief: een prima douche en goed bed. Waar wij minder enthousiast over waren was de inrichting; er staat een slaapbank met zo'n diepe zit dat je er onmogelijk lekker op kunt zitten. Eigenlijk kun je nergens écht lekker zitten tenzij je drie kussens in je rug stopt. Hoewel er een gasfornuis staat is koken een uitdaging; bestek was er nauwelijks (alleen een paar lepels), de koekenpan zo beschadigd dat je daar écht geen eten in wilt maken. De koelkast stond uit toen wij arriveerden. Er was geen koffieapparaat en/of waterkoker zoals in de omschrijving staat. Ook geen wasmachine trouwens. Geen theedoeken of iets waar je hete pannen mee kunt vastpakken. Al met al voelden wij ons niet erg welkom. Toen ik er iets van zei werd er direct een waterkoker gebracht. En werd er de volgende ochtend extra bestek, een theedoek en afwasmiddel gebracht. Wij kregen de indruk dat de aandacht ligt bij de organisatie van feesten en de rest er een beetje bij gedaan wordt. Nergens staat trouwens dat er feesten georganiseerd worden, dus houd hier rekening mee als je voor je rust komt. Die was er bij ons (buiten het weekend) volop; het leek bijna uitgestorven. Hierdoor hadden we wel het zwembad voor onszelf ;-) Er was nergens iets van (toeristische) informatie te vinden. Hoe laat het zwembad open ging, een menu van het restaurant, iets over de omgeving, niets. Er zou ook een pizzeria zijn, maar van enige activiteit was ook hier geen sprake. In de omschrijving van Belvilla staat een uur paardrijden en een keer wellness, maar ik heb geen sauna gezien en hier is ook niets over verteld. (Ook geen behoefte aan dus niet verder naar gevraagd). We zijn nog een rondje rond het terrein gelopen (er is ook een manege) en zagen rond het meertje een klimparcours wat duidelijk niet (meer) in gebruik was. De berg op nog een MTB pad en restanten van wat ooit een trimparcours was. Geen idee of dit ook onderdeel van deze agriturismo is. Mogelijk is er te weinig animo geweest voor dit soort vertier, maar jammer is het wel want iemand heeft er ooit veel energie in gestoken. Al met al een mooie plek maar het is met bijna 650 euro voor een week te duur voor wat je er voor krijgt.

The houses look beautiful from the outside; cheerful colors and lots of green around it. There is room for improvement on the inside. Positive: an excellent shower and good bed. What we were less enthusiastic about was the furnishings; There is a sofa bed with a seat so deep that it is impossible to sit comfortably on it. In fact, you cannot really sit comfortably anywhere unless you put three pillows in your back. Although there is a gas stove, cooking is a challenge; there was hardly any cutlery ( only a few spoons), the frying pan is so damaged that you really don't want to make food in it. The refrigerator was turned off when we arrived. There was no coffee maker and/or kettle as stated in the description something you can hold hot pans with. All in all, we did not feel very welcome. When I said something about it, a kettle was immediately brought. And the next morning extra cutlery, a tea towel and washing up liquid were brought. We got the impression that the focus is on organizing parties and the rest is done on the side. Nowhere does it say that parties are organized, so keep this in mind if you come for a rest. We had plenty of that (outside the weekend); it seemed almost extinct. This meant we had the pool to ourselves ;-) There was no (tourist) information to be found anywhere. What time the pool opened, a menu from the restaurant, something about the area, nothing. There was also supposed to be a pizzeria, but there was no activity here either. The description of Belvilla states one hour of horse riding and one session of wellness

Die Anlage ist eigentlich sehr schön gelegen und von der Grundsubstanz in Ordung, Aber hier fehlt es eindeutig an jemandem der sich kümmert Reperaturen durch zu führen, In einem Appartment war der Kühlschrank defekt,Handtücher ausgefranst (die gehörten ausrangiert), Die Couch völlig durchgesessen, Obwohl 4 Personen übernachten können nur ein Tisch mit 3 Stühlen, Wir konnten dann Gott sei Dank nach 2 Tagen umziehen in den neuen Teil oberhalb der Reithalle, Aber auch wenn man hier genau hinsah stellte man Mängel fest, Das Geschirr selbst für 2 Personen etwas wenig, Es reichte gerade zum Frühstück, An der Decke war teilweise die Verkleidung weg, Der Backofen in der Küche war nicht richtig eingebaut
