The luxury apartment complex is in a perfect position. It is on the Egmont Boulevard with often excellent views of the sea. This is an excellent base for discovering the surrounding area. The famous cheese city of Alkmaar is around the corner. You can easily reach Amsterdam by train. You can visit the Sea Aquarium in Bergen, the Schoorlse Dunes with the highest dune in the Netherlands and the Klimduin. Children will enjoy the Sprookjes Wonderland Adventure Park in Enkhuizen. The Artists Village in Bergen is well worth a visit.

Wir empfanden es grundsätzlich schon im Vorfeld irritierend, dass man Zahlungen an Belville und Roompot zu leisten hat, hier fehlte es uns an Transparenz. Dies endete dann auch damit, dass es die Appartementnummer, die uns Bellville mitgeteilt hatte, im ganzen Haus nicht gab. Eine Person vor Ort war nicht anzutreffen. Es bedurfte einer telefonischen Rückfrage, um die richtige Nummer zu erfahren. Die Lage der Ferienanlage ist gut, das Gebäude ist nur durch eine Strasse von Dünen und Strand getrennt, die Einkaufsstraße ist nach wenigen Minuten Fußweg zu erreichen. Es gibt einen Raum für Fahrräder in der Tiefgarage. Wir haben das Appartement sauberer verlassen, als wir es angetroffen hatten, hier ist noch Spielraum nach oben. Es hatte 3 Betten in zwei kleinen Schlafräumen, von denen das Hauptschlafzimmer kein Fenster hatte. Die Betten waren sehr schmal, die gebuchte Bettwäsche war auf "normal" breite Betten ausgelegt, was insbesondere beim Laken in der Nacht störend war. Im Handtuchpaket ist keine Fußmatte für das Bad enthalten. Die Deckenlampen im Schlafraum sowie über dem Esstisch waren reine Zierde, eine nennenswerte Lichtleistung erbrachten sie nicht. Das galt auch für die Stehlampe im Wohnraum. Die Lampe am Spiegel im Bad war eher eine Nachtnotbeleuchtung. Im Bad ist kein Fön vorhanden. Der Balkon war quasi nicht nutzbar, da er nach einer Regennacht unter Wasser stand, wobei das Wasser nicht abfloß. Spülmaschine und großes Cerankochfeld sind vorhanden, der Küchenbereich ist großzügig. In der Ferienanlage sind in einigen Appartements Hunde erlaubt. Der Betreiber der Anlage kann zwar nichts dafür, leider mussten wir aber beobachten, wie ein Hund im Haus im Eingangsbereich die Fußmatte ausgiebig "markierte". Finden wir nicht so toll....

The apartment we stayed in was very neat and suitable for a family of 3. It was walking distance to the beach, restaurants and shops. The only thing that wasn't great is the shower, the whole bathroom floor was wet after a shower. I would suggest taking a shower curtain, I am not sure if this is the norm in the Netherlands...
