The luxury apartment complex is in a perfect position. It is on the Egmont Boulevard with often excellent views of the sea. This is an excellent base for discovering the surrounding area. The famous cheese city of Alkmaar is around the corner. You can easily reach Amsterdam by train. You can visit the Sea Aquarium in Bergen, the Schoorlse Dunes with the highest dune in the Netherlands and the Klimduin. Children will enjoy the Sprookjes Wonderland Adventure Park in Enkhuizen. The Artists Village in Bergen is well worth a visit.

Man kann leider bei der Buchung kein Appartement aussuchen, sondern nur die Größe buchen. Ich habe daher leider (vielleicht weil ich Alleinreisend war?) das einziger Appartement für 3 Personen im gesamten Haus gehabt, dass "Null" Aussicht hatte. Es können sicher nicht alle Appartements Meerblick haben, aber nur vor eine Wand zu gucken aus allen 3 Fenstern ist bei einem Preis von ca. 1500 € für 10 Tage schon eine Zumutung. Ich habe so etwas bisher in keiner anderen Ferienwohnung erlebt. Auf Sylt habe ich immer für weniger Geld bessere Wohnungen gehabt, und das obwohl Sylt ja gemeinhin als sehr teuer gilt. Ich habe mir in Egmond andere Appartement, z.B. Lido Appartements angeschaut, die alle Meerblick hatten, gemütlicher eingerichtet waren und vom Preis-Leistungsverhältnis günstiger waren. Die Einrichtung ist zwar sehr modern und neu, aber sehr kühl. Es fehlt die Gemütlichkeit, und die Beleuchtung im Wohnbereich ist leider auch überhaupt nicht zum Lesen geeignet. Im Badezimmer fehlen Abstellmöglichkeiten in der Dusche für das Duschbad und unter dem Spiegel für Kleinigkeiten. Außerdem ist auch hier die Beleuchtung nicht geeignet, z.B. um sich zu schminken. Für mich kommt dieses Objekt nicht mehr infrage.

Wir hatten wiedermal einen tollen Aufenthalt. Die Wohnung ist sehr gemütlich, sauber und ansprechend. Wir sind schon zum 2. Mal im Graf von Egmont und fühlen uns dort sehr wohl. Kleiner Kritikpunkt: wir konnten keinen Kinderhochstuhl dazu buchen
