't Schuttenbelt offer various facilities, making it an excellent destination for families with children. There's an outdoor pool with water slide and paddling pool. There are several sports fields and playgrounds. During the school holidays, there's an animation team and the snack bar is open during that same period. The children will certainly like a trip to Adventure park Hellendoorn (approx. 21 km).

The Holterberg the Sallandse Heuvelrug can both be reached by bike from the holiday park and should not be missed when you're going cycling. The famous art town of Ootmarsum (approx. 29 km) is also certainly worth a visit.
