Hunzepark holiday park can be found at the edge of the Hondsrug sand ridge, in a beautiful area of forest and heathland. Cyclists are perfectly in their element here. The water-rich surroundings offer plenty of opportunities for fishing, canoeing, swimming and boating. Golfers have come to the right place as well, with a golf course just a short distance from the park. One of the most popular attractions in the northern Netherlands is Emmen Zoo, which is right by Hunzepark. You can learn all about the history of the regions dolmens at the Hunebedcentrum in Borger. And theres more history to be discovered at De Veenkoloniën dairy farm, where you can learn everything there is to know about cheese and clogs. Whether you're celebrating or escaping, this bungalow delivers an unforgettable stay in the heart of nature.
Specifics
- In the low season from 08.11.2021 t/m 27-3-2022 und 31-10-2022 - 8-1-2023 the facilities are closed during midweeks.
- The outdoor swimming pool is open from the beginning of May to mid-September, depending on the weatherconditions this can differ. When the swimming pool is closed, you can use the swimming paradise of Holiday park Hunzedal. Due to maintenance work, the swimming pool at Vakantiepark Hunzedal will be closed from Monday 8 January to Monday 29 March 2024 und from 6 january till 17 january 2025.
- For several parks a group deposit is charged. The amount of the deposit can differ per park and per group composition. The deposit will be an amount between €50 and €500 per person. Please take this into account when making the reservation. The reception desk of the park decides whether the deposit is necessary. If the accommodation is left in a proper condition, the deposit will be returned within 5 to 10 working days.
- New holiday accommodations are currently being added on a part of the park. This is expected to be completed by mid-June 2023. The park will make every effort to keep any inconvenience to a minimum.
- Groups of students will stay at our park from September 2 to 4, 2024. They have meetings in the catering industry. As a result, the restaurant will be closed to other guests on September 2 and 3, 2024 from 5:00 PM. The snack bar is open. The meetings may cause noise pollution.
- Type homes are divided into categories. Because these are private properties, they were decorated according to the owner’s personal taste and surface area, furnishing and size may vary – the level of comfort is as described, however. The arrangement of beds (sleeping places, separate beds or double beds) depends on the owner and cannot be determined beforehand. The pictures on display here serve as an example only
- You will receive a cost overview by email from the park for the additional costs/local costs. You are required to pay this account before your arrival. This will avoid unnecessary delays on checking in and you will then be able to start your holiday immediately
- If permission is not given for your pet then entry to the park and the reserved accommodation may be refused upon arrival
- Reservations for groups of persons under 21 years of age are not permitted
- This holiday home is available for recreational purposes only. Bookings on behalf of companies will be cancelled and possible cancellation costs will be charged
- Pets need to be mentioned during the booking process due to limited availability
- This accommodation is located in a holiday park. There are multiple units. To book more than one unit, please contact us via chat.
- For groups (such as groups of friends), young people and last-minute bookings, a deposit of € 50 p..p. / 500 p.p. may apply.
- For bookings, other than families, an additional deposit of €50 p.p. / 500 p.p. may be charged. The deposit will be collected upon arrival.
- If boat rental is included at the accommodation, or if the stay coincides with local fairs and festivals, a security deposit may be charged.

Bij aankomst waren aantal glazen niet compleet, kamer 5 was geen verlichting in de badkamer deurkruk was kapot. Melding was vrijdagavond gelijk gedaan en niemand was komen kijken. Het huis was vies

Wij waren met familie in 1 groot huis en hebben ons prima vermaakt. Er was voor onze groep voldoende ruimte. het huis zelf heeft wel behoorlijk wat onderhoudspunten naar ons inziens. Deze hebben wij doorgegeven bij de receptie.

Rustig en overzichtelijk park, mooi ruim zwembad en zeer vriendelijk personeel. Is er iets niet in orde met de accomodatie, meld het en binnen een half uur staat de monteur op de stoep. Een ander misverstand tussen onze groep en het park werd ook op een prettige manier door een leidinggevende opgelost, waardoor wij ook met een relaxt gevoel aan de vakantie begonnen. De outdooractiviteiten op het park zijn voor kinderen ook erg leuk. Daarnaast zijn er mogelijkheden voor bootje varen, volleybal, tafeltennis en nog wel meer keuzes. Het restaurant levert ook voor een grote groep exact op de afgesproken tijd de bestelling uit, dit hebben we zelfs drie keer mogen ervaren. De frites die men er serveert zijn verrukkelijk. Kortom, we kijken terug op een erg fijne week in Hunzepark met een groep van 30 personen.

Huisje is perfect voor een grote groep. Het fijne hier is iedereen heeft zijn eigen kamer met daarin eigen douche/wc. Accommodatie is prima. Is zeker voor herhaling vatbaar

We werden heel hartelijk ontvangen bij de receptie en kregen veel mondelinge en schriftelijke informatir, ondanks dat wij 1,5 uur voor de officiële aankomsttijd binnen stapten. De accomodatie was goed schoon! De leefruimte beneden is wel wat donker en er is eigenlijk wel wat onderhoud nodig aan het gebouw, vooral de ramen in de kamer zijn heel naar met de vieze laag tussen de ramen. Gelukkig hadden we heel mooi wer dit weekend waardoor we veel buiten konden zijn. De omheinde tuin waz heel fijn met de kleine kinderen in ons gezelschap. Heel jammer dat er geen sleutel was om het hek af te sluiten. Alle slaapkamers met eigen sanitair en goede bedden waren fijn. Ook de etagd met grote recreatieruimte was heel prettig.
