Hunzepark holiday park can be found at the edge of the Hondsrug sand ridge, in a beautiful area of forest and heathland. Cyclists are perfectly in their element here. You can explore Drenthes nature preserves with a bicycle map available at reception. Go tracking through the forest together or take the horse-drawn tram along the most scenic spots. The water-rich surroundings offer plenty of opportunities for fishing, canoeing, swimming and boating. Golfers have come to the right place as well, with a golf course just a short distance from the park. One of the most popular attractions in the northern Netherlands is Emmen Zoo, which is right by Hunzepark. You can learn all about the history of the regions dolmens at the Hunebedcentrum in Borger. And theres more history to be discovered at De Veenkoloniën dairy farm, where you can learn everything there is to know about cheese and clogs. Hunzepark offers the ideal holiday for anyone seeking relaxation and room to breathe.

Some villas even boast direct waterfront views, perfect for relaxing on the terrace with a book or morning coffee.
Seasonal Swimming & Relaxation Options
From May to mid-September, guests can enjoy a refreshing dip in the outdoor swimming pool nestled within the park—ideal for sunny afternoons. Visiting in cooler months? No problem. All guests receive access to the subtropical swimming paradise at Holiday Park Hunzedal, just a 15-minute drive away. Please note, the Hunzedal pool is closed from 8–26 January 2024 for maintenance.

Specifics
- In the low season from 08.11.2021 t/m 27-3-2022 und 31-10-2022 - 8-1-2023 the facilities are closed during midweeks.
- The outdoor swimming pool is open from the beginning of May to mid-September, depending on the weatherconditions this can differ. When the swimming pool is closed, you can use the swimming paradise of Holiday park Hunzedal. Due to maintenance work, the swimming pool at Vakantiepark Hunzedal will be closed from Monday 8 January to Monday 29 March 2024 und from 6 january till 17 january 2025.
- For several parks a group deposit is charged. The amount of the deposit can differ per park and per group composition. The deposit will be an amount between €50 and €500 per person. Please take this into account when making the reservation. The reception desk of the park decides whether the deposit is necessary. If the accommodation is left in a proper condition, the deposit will be returned within 5 to 10 working days.
- New holiday accommodations are currently being added on a part of the park. This is expected to be completed by mid-June 2023. The park will make every effort to keep any inconvenience to a minimum.
- Groups of students will stay at our park from September 2 to 4, 2024. They have meetings in the catering industry. As a result, the restaurant will be closed to other guests on September 2 and 3, 2024 from 5:00 PM. The snack bar is open. The meetings may cause noise pollution.
- The interior of the accommodation can differ slightly from the pictures. However, the level of comfort is as described
- You will receive a cost overview by email from the park for the additional costs/local costs. You are required to pay this account before your arrival. This will avoid unnecessary delays on checking in and you will then be able to start your holiday immediately
- If permission is not given for your pet then entry to the park and the reserved accommodation may be refused upon arrival
- Reservations for groups of persons under 21 years of age are not permitted
- This holiday home is available for recreational purposes only. Bookings on behalf of companies will be cancelled and possible cancellation costs will be charged
- Pets will be allowed on request only and a mandatory final cleaning fee applies
- Pets need to be mentioned during the booking process due to limited availability
- This accommodation is located in a holiday park. There are multiple units. To book more than one unit, please contact us via chat.
- For groups (such as groups of friends), young people and last-minute bookings, a deposit of € 50 p..p. / 500 p.p. may apply.
- For bookings, other than families, an additional deposit of €50 p.p. / 500 p.p. may be charged. The deposit will be collected upon arrival.
- If boat rental is included at the accommodation, or if the stay coincides with local fairs and festivals, a security deposit may be charged.

Het huis en de plek waren prima maar het park zelf was vrij uitgestorven. Horeca gebouw was al vroeg dicht, winkeltje af en toe geopend en er stond weinig op het animatie programma. Ook de kano route was niet begaanbaar omdat het slootje te begroeid was. De puntjes op de i ontbraken. Het park en het zwembad zijn wel erg mooi.

Het huis is aan een flinke opknapbeurt toe. Kasten kapot, gordijnen kapot. Stoel doorgezakt Koelkast sluit niet heel goed Etc etc het is het allemaal net niet

Het huis behoeft wel enig onderhoud. Afgebladderd verfwerk, lampjes die niet in het stopcontact kunnen, snoer te kort. Wc- knop werkt niet. Gelukkig wel met elkaar genoten.

accommodatie was niet goed schoon. Hebben we zelf moeten doen. Inrichting badkamer is onvoldoende. Geen waterpartij rondom het huis. Stond wel on AANBOEDONG.

aankomst prima, we werden direct geholpen. Het huis was boven verwachting ruim, schoon en mooi. Alles wat je nodig hebt, was aanwezig en er was een ruime tuin om het huis heen. Mooie groene omgeving en een heerlijk zwembad!

Wij konden niet voor 17.00 uur aanwezig zijn. Dit was helemaal geen probleem. Het restaurant naast de receptie heeft alles prima afgehandeld. De accomodatie was perfect op een klein detail na. De toilet op de verdieping had geen slot wat toch wel als een niet prettige situatie werd ervaren. De omgeving is prachtig.

Bij aankomst hebben we eerst de stofzuiger gepakt en de dweil. Het was er echt niet schoon. Het huisje had niet het comfort wat we er van hadden verwacht. Het park zelf viel qua activiteiten ook tegen met wat we van de foto's hadden verwacht.

Das haus war wunderschön eingerichtet und sehr geräumig. Besonders hervorragend war der service des parks. Es gab viele veranstaltungen für kinder,was sehr angenehm war. Auch das dazu gehörende schwimmbad war gut. Wir werden uns das haus auf jeden fall merken. Der urlaub war nämlich spitzenklasse.

De huisjes zijn van de buitenkant heel leuk .maar de bindkan niet zo .voor een acht personen huisje was er maar een badkamer en ook geen twee de wastafel dat voor een acht personen huis . En schoon was het ook niet
