Boomhiemke holiday park is a midsize holiday park with various facilities. It is located in one of the most beautiful spots on Ameland at the foot of the Hollumer dunes and adjacent to the Jan Roepesheide nature preserve. Here you are free to enjoy a pristine natural setting that offers ultimate rest and relaxation. The good location close to the beach makes Boomhiemke a popular holiday destination.
The park has more than enough to experience for visitors of all ages. There is a bowling alley, a swimming pool, a mini-golf course, various playgrounds and a wellness centre. A recreation team is available during school holidays. They organise activities that you can take part in free of charge. And there is also plenty to see and do beyond the park itself. You can explore the Jan Roepesheide nature preserve and of course the beach. Nearby villages, such as Hollum with its charming little shops, restaurants and cafes, are well worth a visit, as are the museums.
Ameland is a relatively small island, so it's ideal for exploring by bicycle. You can simply hire bikes at the park, or bring your own bikes along. Ameland holiday park: a great holiday destination for the whole family, where you can really unwind and experience ultimate relaxation!

- Reservations will not be accepted for groups or parties of people under the age of 21.
- In the week of 5.12.22 - 11.12.22 the facilities are closed in the midweeks.
- Groups, if not travelling as a family, will be charged EURO 100 p.p. deposit.
- Should you decide to take the car with you to Ameland, please note that you must reserve a place for your car on the ferry well in advance. Because of Corona, pedestrians must also book in advance from 16 June to join the ferry. Book the ferry on 0900 9238. Information about the departure times can be found at www.wpd.nl
- We would like to draw your attention to the fact that in the period 01-11-2021 to April 1, 2022 and October 31, 2022 to January 9, 2023, the Koos Kids Club will be closed and there will be no recreation program.

Leuk huisje met redelijk vrij uitzicht aan de duinrand. Het park en de service/ faciliteiten waren goed. Vooral de horeca medewerkers waren attent. Grote voordeel van het park, je staat zo in de prachtige natuur van Ameland, wandelen in de duinen vanuit je huis. Ideaal

Alles was prima geregeld. Vriendelijke ontvangst. De accomodatie was op zich prima, maar voor vier personen wel wat krap (wij waren met twee). Wij vonden de omgeving wat tegenvallen. De woningen staan boven op elkaar, je kijkt zo bij de buren binnen. Dat komt niet overeen met wat je uit de reclame-uitingen van Belvilla mag verwachten. Nu niet zo'n issue omdat het weer er niet naar was om buiten te zitten. Kortom op zich goede accomodatie, maar geen Belvilla.

Bij aankomst bleek de prachtige duinlodge op een enorm bouwterein te liggen. Ronom was het terrein uitgegraven en stonden er zandschuivers en hijskranen. Echt verschrikkelijk. Een nachtmerrie. Het was duidelijk dat er veel huisjes bijgezet zouden worden. Er stonden we 15 huisjes klaar om geplaatst te worden. Overal riolerongsputten en buizen. Het huisje lag sowieso niet zo vrij als op de foto's staat. Het huisje opzich was ok en netjes. Maar hoe kan je in hemelsnaam zo een vakantiehuisje te huur aanbieden.

Ideale locatie. Wel makkelijk om fiets te huren. Dan nemelijk maar 5 min. van het strand.

Een heerlijke vakantie op om terug te kijken. Het huisje was perfect. Goede ligging. Achter ons huisje liep het schelpenpad(fietspad) en via het pad waren we zo bij de zee. Uiteraard ook prachtig uitzicht. De faciliteiten waren goed in orde. Een geweldige midweek gehad in het park Boomhiemke.
