Boomhiemke holiday park is a midsize holiday park with various facilities. It is located in one of the most beautiful spots on Ameland at the foot of the Hollumer dunes and adjacent to the Jan Roepesheide nature preserve. Here you are free to enjoy a pristine natural setting that offers ultimate rest and relaxation. The good location close to the beach makes Boomhiemke a popular holiday destination.
The park has more than enough to experience for visitors of all ages. There is a bowling alley, a swimming pool, a mini-golf course, various playgrounds and a wellness centre. A recreation team is available during school holidays. They organise activities that you can take part in free of charge. And there is also plenty to see and do beyond the park itself. You can explore the Jan Roepesheide nature preserve and of course the beach. Nearby villages, such as Hollum with its charming little shops, restaurants and cafes, are well worth a visit, as are the museums.
Ameland is a relatively small island, so it's ideal for exploring by bicycle. You can simply hire bikes at the park, or bring your own bikes along. Ameland holiday park: a great holiday destination for the whole family, where you can really unwind and experience ultimate relaxation!

- Reservations will not be accepted for groups or parties of people under the age of 21.
- In the week of 5.12.22 - 11.12.22 the facilities are closed in the midweeks.
- Groups, if not travelling as a family, will be charged EURO 100 p.p. deposit.
- Should you decide to take the car with you to Ameland, please note that you must reserve a place for your car on the ferry well in advance. Because of Corona, pedestrians must also book in advance from 16 June to join the ferry. Book the ferry on 0900 9238. Information about the departure times can be found at www.wpd.nl
- We would like to draw your attention to the fact that in the period 01-11-2021 to April 1, 2022 and October 31, 2022 to January 9, 2023, the Koos Kids Club will be closed and there will be no recreation program.

Het gehuurde huisje was geschikt voor zes personen, waarvan 1 slaapkamer met een stapelbed. De inrichting was sober, met o.a. een rotanstoel zonder kussens erin, wat niet erg comfortabel is om in te zitten. Verder was het keukengerei minimaal, inclusief borden, pannen e.d. Voor de rest wel oké, maar de prijs (bijna € 1600 voor een week) belachelijk duur.

Schönes gut eingerichteter Bungalow im Grünen. Anregung: Ein Hausschlüssel für 4 Personen ist aber zu wenig.

De aankomst was goed maar het huisje was helaas niet goed schoon. Wel prettig dat de bedden bij aankomst waren opgemaakt. De omgeving is rustig.

Der Ferienpark Boomhiemke zeichnet sich durch seine gute Erreichbarkeit von Strand, Ortschaft Hollum und Wald aus. Der von uns belegte Doppelbungalow ist an sich solide, hätte in der Vergangenheit aber etwas mehr Wartung und Pflege bedurft. Ein Schlafzimmer war wegen Schimmelbildung (deutlich zu riechen) nicht zu benutzen. Im Bad war der Schimmel an der Holzdecke deutlich zu sehen. Das Sofa im Wohnzimmer war ziemlich fleckig und wirkte nicht sehr einladend.... . Insgesamt stand der Preis in keinem angemessenen Verhältnis zur gebotenen Leistung.

Wij hebben afgelopen week een heerlijke relaxte vakantie gehad. Het weer was niet helemaal super, maar door de diverse faciliteiten om en rond het park was er genoeg vertier.
