The marlstone caves of the Sint-Pietersberg are worth a visit. There are a number of festivals and activities during the year. From dance parties to André Rieu concerts on the Vrijthof and from TEFAF (the most important art and antiques fair in the world) to the Amstel Gold Race, Maastricht has it all.

Because of its favourable location close to Germany and Belgium, a visit to the cities of Aachen and Liege is also a possibility. Closer to home, cities like Valkenburg, Heerlen, Geleen of Sittard can be reached easily.
