Holiday park Eiland van Maurik is located in a completely unique location, in the middle of the Betuwe and right by a large leisure lake. It will come as no surprise to you that it is very popular with nature lovers and water sports enthusiasts.
The park has various types of accommodation and a large range of facilities. For example there are various places to eat and drink, such as a delightful restaurant, a cosy pizzeria, a hip beach club and a pancake restaurant. The entertainment team pull out all the stops in the school holidays to make it an unforgettable time for children. The leisure lake with its sandy beach is, of course, amazing for water fun. Unfortunately sometimes the weather doesn't cooperate, but for the solution for that is a covered swimming pool! The indoor playground is fantastic for children of all ages. From various arcade games to table tennis and from minigolf to a relaxation area for ages 12+.
Along with all the options on Holiday Park Eiland van Maurik, the surrounding area is also worth seeing. The location in the Betuwe means that you can go on walking and cycling trips for kilometres, starting right by the door. The Betuwe is mostly known for its large-scale horticulture including fruit (apples, pears, cherries). You will see this when you are out and about. The central location in the Netherlands gives you the chance to visit various cities, such as the fortified city of Wijk bij Duurstede (approx. 14 km) and the cities of 's-Hertogenbosch (known as Den Bosch, approx. 48km) and Utrecht (approx. 46km.).

Specifics
- Animation is available in most Dutch school holidays. The climbing wall and archery are only available in most Dutch school holidays.
- Developments of the brand new Family Entertainment Center will continue in the period from March 29 to April 26, 2024. This will not inconvenience guests, but it does mean that a number of facilities are not yet ready. The bowling, arcade hall, glow-in-the-dark mini golf, karaoke rooms, the play attic for the little ones and food plaza will still be closed.

House looked way more modern and cosy in pictures, than in reality. Dissapointed that our 2nd toilet was not even cleaned, as well as garbage bin, so we had bad smell and many flies when came in... Then we had no towels even if we paid extra for bed linnen sets, and in my experience I never had towels missing in this set. Coffee machine destroyed pretty much 1 out of 4 capsules as was not closing properly, we had 4 forks and spoons for a house of 6... These are small things, but worst that we paid as for a 4 star hotel, so I only wished we went for another and nicer option for that price in mid October. Also was annoying that we had this airkey system, difficult to use, and also meaning we always had to bring out phones with us when going out, and to me personally holiday is not bringing the phones with you all the time... So just some feedback, I hope owners will consider and find ways to improve.

Het deursysteem via je smartphone werkte..... maar wel met haperingen. De indeling van het huisje viel ons wel tegen, de slaapkamers en badkamers, wc hadden deze ruimer verwacht.

Mooie chalet, alles is nieuw en netjes ingericht Enige nadeel is dat het wat gehorig is. Gelegen op een mooi park, veel te doen. Park ziet er ook schoon en netjes uit
