Holiday Home near Noordwijk Beach

The small-scale Dunimar resort consists of 114 terraced holiday homes built in Mediterranean style. It's located in the heart of the Dutch bulb-growing region, not far from well-known seaside resort Noordwijk aan Zee, only 4.5 km from the nearest North Sea beach.

An ideal destination for (younger) children, because it's a low-traffic resort. You can park your car at the central car park in the middle of the resort. Cars are only allowed to drive up to the holiday homes for loading and unloading on arrival and departure days. Because of the small-scale character, you won't find lots of facilities like swimming pools and other crowded places here. That's where you can rent bicycles too. There's a mini supermarket that sells fresh bread rolls and you won't have to go far for a drink and a bite to eat, either. Restaurant De Ruigenhoek is only 300m away. The resort runs an entertainment programme during the months of July and August.

You won't really need anything more than your holiday resort and the North Sea beach, but if you feel like exploring further afield, there's plenty to do. The Dunimar resort is situated near a regional road, which makes it an ideal base for various interesting day trips. Cities such as Amsterdam (44km), Haarlem (15km) and Leiden (21km) are all within easy reach. Other highlights include Madurodam, a miniature park in The Hague (32km); Naturalis, biodiversity center in Leiden (19km); Space Expo, aerospace museum in Noordwijk (12km); Avifauna, one of the most famous bird parks in the world, in Alphen aan den Rijn (26km); amusement park Duinrell with its exhilarating Tikibad waterpark, in Wassenaar (20km); and of course the nearby Keukenhof botanical gardens in Lisse (3.5km). If you like nature and outdoor activities, you've come to the right place too. National Park Kennemerland and the Kagerplassen lakes are just around the corner from Resort Dunimar.
