The Buitenhof de Leistert is a lovely luxurious holiday, or better said, farm villa park, it is an expansion of the existing recreation park de Leistert with its many facilities. Buitenhof de Leistert is located in the varied landscape of Middle Limburg, and is surrounded by a beautiful natural area. Shady lanes, farms, fruit orchards and meandering brooks make this experience of times past complete. The villas in the Limburg farmhouse style are characterized by lovely architecture. The park is spacious. You'll enjoy complete peace and space and have all of the necessary facilities on hand to make your holiday complete. On the park there are covered and open air swimming pools, various playgrounds, a rowing lake, cycle hire and much more. The area is perfect for cycling and/or walking excursions. Roermond, with its atmospheric downtown, Maastricht, the White Town of Thorn, the thermal baths at Arcen and Toverland are certainly worth a visit. Set in a five-star holiday park in the green heart of Midden-Limburg, this charming 9-person farmhouse is perfect for families and groups seeking space, comfort, and plenty of adventure. Built in traditional Limburg style and nestled on a spacious private plot with a large garden, this detached home spans 150 m² across two floors. It features four thoughtfully arranged bedrooms: two downstairs (a double with separate mattresses and a twin), and two upstairs (one with a double plus single, and another twin). Two bathrooms, one with a shower and the other with a bathtub, ensure convenience for all guests.
This Comfort version is designed for a relaxed, care-free stay. Enjoy underfloor heating in every room, a flat-screen TV, a dishwasher, and a sunny terrace for al fresco moments. Everything is in place for a worry-free holiday. Best of all, your stay includes unlimited access to nearly all park facilities and activities—offering great value for families who love to explore and play together.
The holiday park bursts with energy and variety, featuring a subtropical swimming pool with slides, rapids, and whirlpools, Adventure Golf, hyperbowling, and a packed schedule of recreational activities for all ages. Dining is a delight with options like Mr. Friet for quick snacks, La Selva for relaxed family meals, and Via Verde for delicious Italian dishes. You can even grill your own food at Grillo. Note: Swimming pool will be closed from Monday, January 19, 2026, to Thursday, February 5, 2026, due to necessary maintenance work on the pool complex.
Specifics
- On Tuesday, Nov. 7, 2023, all facilities will be closed from 4 p.m.
- In addition to the comfort farm villas NL-6088-02 (5-pers.), NL-6088-06 (7-pers.) and NL-6088-10 (9-pers.), there are also luxury farm villas. These have, in addition to the furnishings of the comfort types, a sauna, a whirlpool, a washing machine/dryer combination and a flat screen in one or more bedrooms. The luxury types are NL-6088-04 (5-pers.), NL-6088-08 (7-pers.), NL-6088-12 (9-pers.), NL-6088-14 (11-pers.) and NL-6088-16 (13-pers.).
- There is also a child friendly variant available for all available types. A crib, playpen and high chair are standard in these villas. You will also find a wagon, stair gate on top of the stairs, protected wall outlets, washing machine/dryer combination, and the garden is enclosed. The child friendly types are NL-6088-03 (5-pers. comfort), NL-6088-05 (5-pers. lux.), NL-6088-07 (7-pers. comfort), NL-6088-09 (7-pers. lux.), NL-6088-11 (9-pers. comfort), NL-6088-13 (9-pers. lux.), NL-6088-15 (11-pers. lux.) and NL-6088-17 (13-pers. lux.).
- There are farm villas where pets are allowed. Pets are only accepted on request. To arrange this, contact the customer service centre by phone. If the pet is not previously approved, access to the park may be refused.
- For a fee, there is also access to a wifi network for the laptop or smart phone.
- The adventure water playground in our water play area, cannot be commissioned until further notice (expected to March 2024)
- There is a temporary Pop-Up facility called 'Arcade Games XL' from October 2023 to March 2024; all information can be found at https://www.leistert.nl/arcade-games-xl
- For reasons of tranquillity, this holiday home will not be rented to groups of youngsters
- Reservations for groups of persons under 21 years of age are not permitted

De Leistert is een heel mooi park met veel faciliteiten. We hebben een heerlijk weekend gehad, maar ons huisje was niet schoon bij aankomst. Zeg maar gerust vies. Ook de inventaris klopte niet met wat er aangegeven was. Dat was erg jammer, maar ondanks dat wel een fijn weekend gehad.

Zeet leuk en kindvriendelijk park er is van alles te doen. Nadeel was het online reserveren van het zwembad was vaak al om 9:10 vol. Het huis opzicht was prachtig, alleen zeer slecht schoon gemaakt. En de vaatwasser was kapot.Op zaterdagmorgen hierover een klacht ingediend. Zaterdag rond de middag hadden we een nieuwe vaatwasser. Er is ook aangeboden iemand langs te laten komen voor de schoonmaak, dit echter zelf gedaan.

We hebben een geweldig even vakantie gehad Leuke midweek veel te doen voor de kinderen en ouderen Goede bedden Min punt dune kussens en veel vliegen en geen vliegenmepper meer te verkrijgen Het park is mooi en schoon wij geven er een 9 voor groetjes fam v heesch uit tilburg zuid We zaten ver van plaza dus moesten met auto omdat we moeilijk ter been zijn en rolstoel nodig hadden maar is prima gegaan

Met het gezin (6 volwassenen en 3 (klein)kinderen een super weekeinde gehad in een van de (9-persoons) vakantiewoningen. Hoewel kindvriendelijk niet meer te boeken was, bleek dat uiteindelijk geen probleem op te leveren. Het was een erg mooi huis en dito park. We komen volgend jaar zeker terug! Enige nadeel was de afstand van het huis naar de Plaza. Te ver om te lopen.

het was een hele fijne vakantie weekend geweest we hebben er van genoten.service was goed. er was een lekkage we hadden het gemeld en binnen een 10 min waren ze langs geweest.super.
