A short walk takes you to the dyke at the Oosterschelde in no time at all.

Wemeldinge is a wonderful, versatile village. It features a beautiful marina and beach (around 1.04km from the resort). It also has a range of practical features. The city of Goes is just 8km away. It features a rich history and modern facilities. This can be seen in the authentic facades that shape the cosy shopping streets. The capital city as far as exporting mussels and oysters is concerned is Yerseke (approx. 8km.). If you like these delicacies or are interested in how they are processed, a visit to this typical Zeeuwse fishing village is a must. Of course, the restaurants only serve fresh produce. All these sights are perfect for combining with a wonderful cycling trip.

Oosterschelde Water Resort is a park under construction. A lot of plants have been planted in the park already, ensuring that it doesn't look bare despite being so new. There may be some noise from building works mid-week. The accommodation has been placed elsewhere, meaning it is in a quiet location. Everything is being done to keep the disturbance to a minimum.
