Laholm has a cozy center with small shops, cafes and restaurants. Here, the Lagan winds around the city and there is fine salmon fishing and a smokehouse with a restaurant. A fishing license is required. There are also several lovely hiking trails on Hallandsåsen. To the north, you can easily reach Halmstad with its fantastic beaches in Tylösand, its wide range of entertainment and all the golf courses.
