Please note that trains pass just outside the garden at regular intervals – the house is partly equipped with soundproof windows to reduce indoor noise. There is plenty to do in Skåne within reasonable distance. If you enjoy swimming, fishing, walking, or cycling, the surroundings offer endless natural beauty. Other attractions and destinations include Bosarpssjön, Bjeverödsdammarna, Skånes Zoo, Fulltofta Nature Center, Bosjökloster, and a beautiful golf course (Bosjökloster Golf Club). At Vaxsjön, you can also rent a boat for a small fee. If you want a change from freshwater and prefer the sea, two of Skåne’s finest beaches are Yngsjöstrand on the east coast and Borstahusen on the west coast.
