Activity-filled winter sports holiday in the charming town of Zell am See

Zell am See is a traditional and picturesque town located on the Zeller See at an altitude of 757 metres. It has been a popular holiday destination from time immemorial and, since 1961, has also been an (outdoor) health resort. Stay in a ski chalet in Zell am See and enjoy all the charm, après-ski fun, picturesque shopping streets (there is also a popular and delightful Christmas market on the town square around Christmastime), restaurants, pubs and nightlife. You can choose from more than 100 restaurants and more than 30 pubs, bars and clubs. Looking for relaxation for both body and mind? The Swimming and Leisure Centre in Zell am See has everything under one roof: indoor swimming pool, sauna, baby and children's sauna, Aqua-fit, skating rink and skittle alley. Some of the hotels also have a wellness centre. Alternatively, you can visit Kaprun, where a brand-new wellness centre opened in November 2010, the Tauern Spa Kaprun-Zell am See. Here you can enjoy a Water World, Sauna World, Children’s Spa and various beauty treatments and massages. After a day or evening of wellness activities, you’re sure to sleep like a baby in the comfort of your own chalet in Zell am See!  The frozen Zeller See (4.5 km2) is perfect for skating fun, from ice skating and curling to ice hockey and kite surfing - and all of it in a beautiful natural setting! If the lake is not frozen enough due to high outdoor temperatures, you can always go skating at the indoor skating rink. Enjoy a wide range of wintertime activities while staying at a chalet or apartment in Zell am See!
