Winter sports fun in Ski Arena Wildkogel
Neukirchen and Bramberg am Wildkogel together form the Ski Arena Wildkogel (1642-2150 m), a pleasant and family-friendly skiing area with 55 km of slopes and 15 lifts. There is a 6-person gondola that takes you from the village to the Wildkogel mountain station. Here you will find a panorama restaurant, ski school and the Kogel-Mogel Kinderland. You can ski right into the heart of the village! Want to try tobogganing? Choose between the Kühnreit natural toboggan run (approx. 1.2 km) and the Stockenbaum toboggan run (approx. 5.5 km) in Neukirchen. Bramberg is also home to a 14 km-long toboggan run, the longest illuminated toboggan run in Europe! In Neukirchen itself in the valley there are two beginner’s lift, the Skiwiese Eggerfeld and Preimislift, and plenty of cross-country options, including the Neuda (1.5 km), Schönbach (1.7 km) and Dümbach (2 km) tracks. Looking for a challenge? The Zillertal Arena (Königsleiten, Gerlos and Zell am Ziller) and Kitzbüheler Alpen can also be reached by ski shuttle or car.
