Winter sports holiday in Königsleiten and Wald im Pinzgau

Wald-Königsleiten is made up of two towns, the ski village of Königsleiten and Wald im Pinzgau. The friendly ski village of Königsleiten is situated at a high altitude (1600 m) and is often referred to as the gateway to the Zillertal Arena. Here you can ‘ski to the front door’ of many of our holiday homes. There are also plenty of après-ski and restaurants to choose from and, for the kids, there are an indoor day care centre and an outdoor ski, sports and play area. The original village of Wald im Pinzgau (900 m) is a great destination, not only for downhill and cross-country skiers, but also for winter hikers. There is a free ski shuttle that takes you to the Zillertal Arena skiing region. Another option is the Ski-Arena Wildkogel. The village itself has a small, 200 m-long toboggan run. Cross-country skiers can enjoy 7 km of village tracks that connect to the 200 km-long Pinzgau-Loipe. Other activities include winter hiking, torch-lit tours and horse-sleigh rides. For relaxation, there is the Kristallbad Wald/Königsleiten, with a swimming park, sauna facilities, physiotherapy, massage, workout equipment, hairdresser and restaurant. Some of our holiday homes in Wald im Pinzgau are even located next to the Kristallbad. Choose the holiday home or ski chalet from our portfolio of accommodations that best suits your needs. Accommodations in and around Königsleiten and Wald im Pinzgau range from a luxury detached chalet (also for groups) with sauna to a modern apartment and charming converted farmhouse.

Zillertal Arena skiing region

Those with a valid ski pass can take advantage of a free ski bus service between Neukirchen, Wald, Krimml and Königsleiten. Enjoy a memorable winter sports holiday while staying at a ski chalet in Königsleiten and Wald im Pinzgau!
