Winter sports in La Bresse in the Vosges
La Bresse is located in the heart of the Ballons des Vosges Regional Park in the Vosges. It is the largest winter sports destination in the Vosges and offers countless opportunities for a fun-filled holiday. La Bresse ski resorts
La Bresse has 3 ski resorts: La Bresse-Hohneck, La Bresse-Lispach and La Bresse-Brabant, the largest of which is La Bresse-Hohneck. La Bresse-Hohneck (900-1350 m) is the largest skiing area in North-eastern France, covering an area of 220 hectares, with 38 slopes (including several illuminated ones), a snow park and a special fun children’s ski area, Opoualand, offering slalom, a tunnel and other activities. At the foot of the La Bresse/Hohneck slope is a day care centre for children ages 18 months to 6 years. There is also a winter hiking trail and a snowshoe hiking trail. New this season (2010/2011) is a 700 m-long toboggan run (on rails). La Bresse-Lispach (910-1120 m) is a family-friendly downhill and cross-country ski resort near the Lispach Lake, with 5 lifts, 6 slopes (green, blue and red categories) and a small toboggan run. Cross-country skiers can enjoy 50 km of tracks through beautiful scenery. Thanks to the connection to the Xonrupt and Gérardmer networks, you can enjoy an additional 50 km of tracks! La Bresse-Brabant is also a small family-friendly ski resort with 3 lifts and 8 slopes (green, blue and red categories). Here you can also try snow kiting.
