Less skilful skiers can have a wonderful time on the nearly 100 km of groomed tracks. Or take a romantic snow hike, go skating or try out the Reiseralm-Rodelbahn, a toboggan track of 1.6 cm long and with a drop of 200 metres. There is a free ski bus between the pistes of Lenggries-Wegschied, the train station and the valley station of the Brauneck gondola.

Just to the east of the Brauneck area and 70 km south of Munich you will find the Spitzingsee ski area, which as its name indicates, is located surrounding this beautiful mountain lake. It consists of various smaller areas that are all accessible with one pass. With primarily blue and red runs, it is a family friendly area, and there are also many sights and beautiful hiking trails in the direct vicinity, for those who do not want to spend all day on the planks.
