The Westendorf ski resort is part of the Skiwelt Wilder Kaiser-Brixental, the largest continuous skiing area in Austria, with 279 km of slopes, 91 funiculars and lifts and every imaginable activity to guarantee a memorable winter sports holiday! Thanks to the 8-person ‘Ki-West’ gondola (between Gampenkogel and Aschau/Kienzingbach), you can access the skiing region of Kitzbühel/Kirchberg (KitzSki), with 170 km of well-prepared slopes, 54 modern lifts and 2 snow parks. The base lodge has a bus connection to Kirchberg. In other words, the possibilities are virtually endless when staying at a ski chalet in Westendorf!

Westendorf ski resort

The Westendorf ski resort has a number of red and blue-category slopes and a practice slope. There is the Boarders Playground on Gampenkogel in Westendorf, a true Mecca for snowboarders and freestylers that was created by snowboarding legend Reinhard ‘Gogo’ Gossner. The Boarders Playground has a Public Park and Pro Park. There is also a 7.5 km-long toboggan run at the top of the Talkaser that descends to the scenic paradise of Windautal. Cross-country skiers can enjoy 12.5 km of tracks from Westendorf to Aunerhof. Paragliding is also possible! The ski schools here have an excellent reputation. The Reds Schischule Westendorf, the largest ski school in Westendorf, is highly recommended, as it offers the most possibilities, also for children. There is also the Bobo’s Miniclub for children ages 3-5 years and a Kids’ Club with Kinderland for children ages 6-14 years.
